One of APHA’s key activities is to advocate for various issues across the breadth of public health (i.e., behavioural, social, and environmental determinants of health). The APHA has developed a process to help the APHA Public Issues Committee and Board of Directors determine what issues to prioritize and how to take action on an issue when prioritized.
